Grand Solmar Vacation Club allows You not to have to go far to have a balance of experiences at the beaches in Los Cabos, Mexico.
If it’s true that opposites attract and make the whole, here are two of the best yin and yang beach experiences you can find in Los Cabos, the area of Mexico at the bottom of the Baja Peninsula.
Make sure you enjoy both sides of these balanced experiences:
Lover’s Beach and Divorce Beach
With those names, it’s no surprise that these are two very different beaches, with views of two different oceans, yet you can walk between the two. This famous destination is on the Land’s End peninsula off the Cabo San Lucas marina, accessed from the marina or Medano Beach by water taxi very close to Grand Solmar Vacation Club.
At Lover’s Beach, you can relax and enjoy the view back into the Cabo San Lucas Bay, swim in the calm waters of the Sea of Cortes, or snorkel nearby. Walk over to Divorce Beach, and you shouldn’t even approach the water. Stay well back from the crashing waves and marvel at the magnificent Pacific Ocean. At the right time of year, you may see a whale breaching from your suite at Grand Solmar Vacation Club.
These opposite attractions are a must-see when in Los Cabos. En route, ask the driver for a tour to see the rock formations and sea lion colony.
Medano Beach and Chileno Bay
These two stunning beaches both look out at the turquoise blue, crystal clear waters of the Sea of Cortes, and they are both swimmable and safe, but they provide many different experiences.
Medano Beach is famous for its raucous bars close to the Cabo San Lucas Marina, so you can stop for a margarita and do some people watching. It also has more activities than you could hope to do in a day, from kayaking and paddleboarding to flyboarding and parasailing. You can finish all your shopping without leaving the beach, as friendly vendors offer traditional Mexican wares and more contemporary sports souvenirs, hats, and sunglasses.
Grand Solmar Vacation Club suggests a Visit to Chileno Bay
Chileno Bay is just 9 miles from Cabo San Lucas on the highway to San Jose Del Cabo. Here, you won’t find any bars or vendors, and there won’t be anybody renting you a kayak. But you can relax on a calm beach with a great view, and indulge in some of the best snorkeling in the area. Walkout from the beach a few steps, and you’ll be in the midst of colorful fish, or book a snorkel excursion to experience the bay from a boat, which will serve you lunch and drinks after you snorkel.
These two examples of opposite beach experiences are just a few of the beautiful beaches and other delights that await you in the vacation paradise of Los Cabos, Mexico.
